As a life member of Safari Club International and the NRA, I understand the value of not only conservation but of the humanitarian impact hunters have on a region. On our first trip to Africa we were blessed to take 3, 80 lbs. Safari Care bags that we shared with the Opermanskraal school. It was a very enlightening experience watching these kids get so excited about items we take for granted.

Simple things like a piece of gum, candy, a new tee shirt were practically treasures. It was clear we didn’t bring nearly enough and did the best we could to ensure every child got something. We stayed and played soccer with them and enjoy a program of dancing and singing that was put on just for us.
Hunters need to make an effort to show that we are more than just people who take game, but that we are willing to help those less fortunate and promote the value of hunting and wildlife throughout the world.

I’ve loved the outdoors and hunting from a very young age. Check out some of my first game...
